Petition: No to late abortion in Quebec

  • Considering that a  good year, a bad year, twenty pregnant women are sent to the United States at the expense of taxpayers
of Quebec to commit an abortion beyond 24 weeks of pregnancy  ;

  • Whereas often these babies and their mothers are in perfect physical health  ;

  • Considering that recently, the Quebec government has expressed its desire to repatriate to Quebec
the odious practice of these late abortions, often performed on healthy babies.

  • Whereas direct abortion is not necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman and is even more dangerous when it is late;

  • Whereas science shows that human life begins at conception ;

  • Whereas innocent human life is sacred from conception to natural death;

​We, the undersigned, ask the government of François Legault, Premier of Quebec, not to repatriate the odious practice of late abortions in Quebec, whether or not this practice continues in the United States.​
