Puberty is not a disease
The Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia (North-East Italy) approved on July 17 a motion asking the Italian government to ban the prescription of substances that prevent the normal sexual development of adolescents (under the pretext of
"treatment of sexual reassignment for children suffering from gender non-conformity ").
The motion emphasizes that "puberty is not a disease" and should not be prevented by irreversible surgery or medication. She cites a document from the American College of Pediatrics indicating that 61-98% of minors exceed what some people call "gender dysphoria" after natural puberty. The College denounces the myth of "transgenderism" because you simply can not change sex.
