on the “N-Word” Crisis
Fall 2020. Professor Verushka Lieutenant-Duval is suspended from the University of Ottawa (Ud'O) following the filing of a complaint by a student. She allegedly made racist remarks by using the "n-word" in one of her classes. Several days later, a group of 34 professors from the post-secondary institution published a letter in certain media in which they supported Ms. Lieutenant-Duval.
